Head of Global Renewals

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Head of Global Renewals to build and scale the function that protects and grows recurring revenue. The role owns renewals strategy, execution and forecasting, ensuring exceptional customer outcomes while delivering predictable revenue as the enterprise base expands.

Key responsibilities

• Build, hire and develop a team of Renewals Managers, defining coverage, performance standards and a culture of accountability.
• Own renewal bookings, gross and net retention, on‑time renewal metrics, forecast accuracy and pipeline health, identifying risk early and mitigating churn.
• Establish scalable renewal playbooks, stage definitions and qualification criteria adapted to a consumption‑based revenue model.
• Drive rigorous weekly and monthly renewal forecasting using usage data and customer health signals.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to convert adoption into expanded commitments and lead executive renewal conversations for strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk, Finance and Strategy & Operations on pricing, terms, approvals and field alignment.
• Leverage data, automation and tooling—including Anthropic’s Claude—to optimize processes and monitor key performance indicators.
