Gym Receptionist

About the role

The Gym Receptionist welcomes members and guests to the House Gym, manages check‑ins, directs visitors to training areas, and provides a friendly first impression. The role also supports scheduling of personal training sessions and assists with basic equipment queries while maintaining a clean, safe reception environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests by name, check them in, and guide them to the appropriate area (personal training, free weights, Technogym equipment, changing rooms).
• Answer high‑volume phone calls, respond to member inquiries, and manage appointment calendars for personal training.
• Promote House Gym services, assist with scheduling and follow‑up of training sessions, and handle deliveries and messages.
• Document and forward complaints, lost property, and maintenance requests to the relevant departments.
• Assist members with Technogym equipment usage and ensure the reception area remains tidy and sanitary.
• Report any health‑ and safety concerns and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Train and share knowledge with other reception team members as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a front‑desk or reception role, preferably within a fitness or hospitality setting.
• Proven ability to handle high‑volume phone lines and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
