General Laborer

About the role

Join 3M’s production team as a General Laborer and contribute to the safe, efficient manufacturing of high‑quality products. You will work on the shop floor in a variety of environments, supporting daily operations and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily safety and environmental checks and address any concerns promptly.
• Conduct housekeeping inspections and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow standard operating procedures to support consistent production output.
• Shovel, sweep, and clear conveyors, elevators, equipment, and roof areas.
• Handle heavy spouts, bags, hoses, and screens in assigned zones.
• Work in conditions that may be hot, cold, humid, dusty, or otherwise challenging.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or GED (must be verified before start).
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
• Ability to pass 3M‑administered testing as part of the selection process.
