Full-Time Academic Interventional Radiologist

About the role

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport & LSU Health Sciences Center are seeking a full‑time board‑certified/board‑eligible Interventional Radiologist, fellowship‑trained in vascular and interventional radiology, to join an academic department that blends patient care with teaching and research.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures.
• Provide teaching and mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Contribute to the integrated IR residency program and early specialization.
• Participate in research and academic activities within the health sciences center.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Interventional Radiology.
• Fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, subspecialty‑trained radiology practice.
• Commitment to academic teaching and leadership.
