About the role
Dumpling Daughter is seeking a hands‑on Foodservice Sales Director to lead and expand our foodservice channel. This remote position reports to the Vice President of Sales and offers the opportunity to shape strategy, build relationships, and drive growth across distributors and operators.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive foodservice sales strategy in alignment with company goals.
- Manage broker partners, recruit broker teams as needed, and oversee total foodservice spend.
- Travel approximately 35% of the time for field visits, trade shows, and headquarters meetings.
- Engage existing distributors (e.g., Sysco, Chefs Warehouse, PFG) and acquire new accounts, including independent and national chains.
- Represent Dumpling Daughter at sales meetings, food shows, and customer visits, handling booth setup, sampling, and follow‑up.
- Track performance using CRM and internal reporting tools.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of sales experience with at least 2 years in the foodservice channel.
- Proven ability to build relationships with operators, chefs, and distributor partners.
- Strong understanding of foodservice distributor networks and trade‑show dynamics.
Required skills
- CRM proficiency.
