Field Support Technician – Retail IT (Bilingual)

About the role

You will be the first point of contact for IT support across multiple retail stores in Nassau County. The role involves daily travel between stores, troubleshooting a range of hardware and software issues, and providing training to store staff in both English and Spanish.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for support tickets from retail locations.
• Travel between stores in Hempstead, Floral Park, Valley Stream, and Richmond Hill.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with desktops, networks, software, and hardware.
• Install and configure hardware (cables, monitors, printers) and software applications.
• Train store employees on applications and wireless peripherals.
• Escalate complex problems to senior technical teams.
• Configure Zebra handheld devices and printers.
• Maintain accurate work logs and service documentation.

Required profile

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle (fuel, toll, and parking reimbursed).
• Ability to lift and handle hardware components.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with store staff.
