About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Endpoint Services Technician to provide technical assistance and user support for network communications across its academic and administrative community.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for endpoint and network issue determination.
- Deliver timely, professional customer service and prioritize support requests.
- Monitor, administer, and close help‑desk tickets.
- Assist staff with installation, configuration, testing, and certification of endpoint devices, peripherals, and software.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, regular maintenance, and software loading on endpoint devices.
- De‑commission replaced hardware and ensure compliance with university policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant technical support experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Capability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
