Endocrinology Physician (Outpatient) – Full-time

About the role

Ochsner Health in Covington, LA is seeking board‑certified or board‑eligible endocrinologists for a full‑time outpatient practice. The position focuses on thyroid, osteoporosis, diabetes, and pituitary & adrenal disorders, working closely with a dedicated diabetes care team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrine care covering thyroid, osteoporosis, diabetes, pituitary and adrenal conditions.
• Collaborate daily with three APPs, a diabetes educator, and the Diabetes Care Specialists team.
• Maintain a flexible schedule with limited after‑hours call (approximately 1:8 ratio).
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for efficient patient management.

Required profile

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Strong clinical expertise with excellent interpersonal and time‑management skills.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care in an outpatient setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR platform.
