EDI Data Support Clerk I – Data Entry & Validation

About the role

The EDI Data Support Clerk I plays a behind‑the‑scenes role supporting CCMSI’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations. The position is responsible for accurately entering, validating, and submitting injury and accident data to state agencies in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and update claim and injury data into EDI reporting systems.
• Review data for completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Submit injury and accident reports to state agencies within regulatory deadlines.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information and coordinate resolution with internal teams.
• Maintain organized records and documentation related to EDI submissions.
• Meet daily data volume expectations while maintaining high accuracy standards.
• Follow established procedures and reporting guidelines consistently.
• Support the EDI team with assigned projects and workload needs.
• Communicate clearly with team members regarding errors, corrections, or updates.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive claim and personal information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive data entry with accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, computer‑based environment.
• Reliable, predictable attendance during scheduled hours.
• Ability to work independently after training while collaborating with a team.
