About the role
AlphaBEST Education is seeking a Site Director for its Early Child Care Center in La Plata, MD. The Director creates a safe, nurturing environment for young children while providing leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with company and state regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Set departmental targets, manage budgets, and resolve inter‑departmental issues.
- Manage class schedules, staffing, and usage efficiency.
- Coordinate care plans with caregivers, families, social services, and medical professionals.
- Conduct parent conferences, monitor student progress, and handle admissions and discharges.
- Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, and reporting requirements.
Required profile
- Associate degree with at least 15 semester hours in early childhood education or a Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Minimum 2 years of supervised experience working with preschoolers in a licensed child‑care setting.
