Director of Endpoint Management

About the role

The Director of Endpoint Management provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Georgetown University’s entire fleet of endpoint devices, ensuring a stable, reliable, and secure computing environment for faculty, staff, and students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for endpoint management services.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of endpoint engineers and specialists.
• Oversee procurement, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual desktops.
• Enforce endpoint security policies, including patching, encryption, antivirus, and compliance.
• Manage endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Jamf.
• Control the budget for hardware, software, and related services.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for endpoint‑related products and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management with a focus on endpoint systems.
• At least 4 years of supervisory or management experience leading technical teams.
• Expert‑level knowledge of endpoint lifecycle management and security best practices.
