About the role
The Director of Commercial Operations will lead commercial planning, forecasting, and execution for a fast‑growing U.S. business of a multi‑billion‑dollar European nutrition company. Reporting to senior leadership, this remote role coordinates with sales, supply chain, marketing, e‑commerce and finance to ensure seamless product ordering, fulfillment and delivery across omni‑retail and digital channels.
Key responsibilities
- Own the commercial planning cadence, including annual plan, monthly reviews and weekly KPI tracking.
- Lead sales forecasting, demand alignment and trade‑spend management across retail, specialty and digital platforms (Amazon, TikTok, etc.).
- Develop and maintain dashboards for POS, shipments, distribution velocity, margin and forecast accuracy.
- Support key account teams with customer planning, sell‑in analytics and promotional ROI analysis.
- Coordinate with third‑party logistics, co‑manufacturing partners and European counterparts on product launches and cost‑of‑goods analysis.
- Drive sales‑operations discipline through tools, timelines and accountability mechanisms.
Required profile
- 6‑10 years of experience in CPG/FMCG commercial or sales operations, preferably at a large consumer‑goods company.
- Proven track record managing Amazon, Target, Walmart, specialty and digital channel operations.
- Experience building and leading commercial‑operations teams.
- Ability to act as an owner‑operator and provide strategic direction.
