DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Kubernetes

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud‑based data architectures. The role bridges business requirements with technical implementation, ensuring data pipelines, storage, and analytics platforms support our customers in the electric utility and critical infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimise Linux systems across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Automate end‑to‑end deployment workflows for applications and infrastructure.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Deploy, configure and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS) including namespace isolation, resource quotas, network policies and scaling.
• Implement Helm‑based service deployments and manage cluster lifecycle.
• Set up observability stacks with Prometheus, Grafana and Loki.
• Develop cloud‑agnostic infrastructure as code with Terraform, Helm, Crossplane or Ansible.
• Enforce security best practices, perform vulnerability identification and automate patching.
• Troubleshoot networking, Kubernetes and distributed‑system issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Linux system administration and automation.
• Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines and deploying Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong scripting abilities in Bash or Python.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and proactive infrastructure security.
