About the role
Soracom is looking for a motivated Customer Engagement Specialist to join its fast‑growing team. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who enjoy prospecting, qualifying leads, and collaborating with sales and marketing to drive new business.
Key responsibilities
- Generate qualified leads through outbound phone and email prospecting.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to qualify inbound leads.
- Qualify leads using tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo.
- Uncover prospect needs, generate interest, and forward qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales representative.
- Manage lead flow by following set sequences (calls, emails) in Salesforce and track qualified leads through acceptance by sales.
- Meet or exceed monthly lead‑generation targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams and other Customer Engagement Specialists to gather lead lists and execute territory‑based prospecting campaigns.
- Demonstrate Soracom’s Leadership Principles (Proactive, Customer‑Centric, “Just Do It”, Dive Deep, Emotionally Mature, Deliver Results).
Required profile
- Fluent English with excellent written communication skills.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to grasp basic technical concepts.
- Strong listening and communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
- Comfortable connecting with prospects via phone and video conferencing.
- Self‑driven, autonomous, and enthusiastic attitude.
