Construction Project Assistant Manager

About the role

Join the LEGO Group’s Retail Development team to support Construction Project Managers in delivering new store openings, relocations, conversions and planned maintenance across the US, Canada and Europe. You will act as an information hub, ensuring smooth coordination between retail, legal, finance and operations stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own and facilitate weekly LBR construction meetings, capture notes, action items and follow‑up.
• Manage the central Retail Development database, identify documentation gaps and maintain transparency for the organization.
• Prepare and deliver Retail Development documents, coordinating with Legal and Finance on LL contributions.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure correct invoicing, payment terms and compliance with finance processes.
• Support small ad‑hoc projects as the role evolves.
• Partner with the Construction Project Manager to oversee planned maintenance, coordinate fixture shipping, flow and delivery, and track NA fixture replacement inventory.
• Finalize lease agreements for new and renewed store units in close collaboration with senior managers and legal/finance teams.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing information, assist Finance with cost control and asset re‑classification, and promote alignment across markets.

Required profile

• Experience in retail construction, project management or business development.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
