Community Manager – Lease-Up (San Diego)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a results‑driven Community Manager to lead the lease‑up of a 432‑unit property in the San Diego market. The role oversees daily operations, drives revenue targets, and ensures compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day property operations, including team leadership and resource allocation.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and set rent rates to meet revenue goals.
• Oversee rent collection, financial deposits, and monthly financial reporting.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other multi‑family housing regulations.
• Drive leasing strategy, marketing initiatives, and resident retention efforts during the lease‑up phase.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of property or community management experience, preferably in lease‑up environments.
• Strong leadership, financial acumen, and ability to develop high‑performing teams.
• Proficiency with OneSite, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Real‑estate license and certifications such as CAM, CPM, or CAPS are preferred.
