CNC Milling Machinist

About the role

Applied Medical is seeking experienced CNC Milling Machinists to join their manufacturing team in Rancho Santa Margarita. You will work within a collaborative environment to produce high‑quality medical device components.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines according to engineering drawings.
• Change tools, make offset adjustments, and interpret blueprint dimensions.
• Follow machining policies, QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules and safety guidelines.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
• Proficiency interpreting blueprint dimensions and using precision measuring tools.
• Working knowledge of MI, QSR, ISO, SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and lift up to 50 lbs.

Required skills

• Operation of 3‑axis, 4‑axis and 5‑axis CNC milling equipment.
• Tool change and offset adjustment procedures.
• Blueprint reading and dimensional inspection.
• Familiarity with Makino, HAAS and DMG milling machines (preferred).
