Clinic Manager

About the role

The Clinic Manager will lead daily operations of hospital‑owned physician practices at Palestine Regional Medical Center, a 150‑bed facility recognized for safety and quality. This role ensures high‑quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards while supporting the hospital’s mission in the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow of assigned physician practices, maintaining efficient patient flow and high‑quality care.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and manage budgets, track financial performance, and address variances.
• Recruit, train, and supervise clinical and administrative staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation, coding, and billing to optimize reimbursement.
• Coordinate provider schedules, manage supply chain, and maintain inventory levels.
• Resolve patient complaints and escalate issues as needed.
• Lead quality‑improvement initiatives and collaborate on strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred; associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum three years of management experience in a physician practice or outpatient clinic.
• Certification in Healthcare Management (e.g., CMPE) and Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using EHR systems such as Epic and Athena.
• Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance reimbursement processes.
