About the role

Join MultiCare Health System’s Cardiac Cath Lab as a Residency Registered Nurse. This 0.9 FTE, variable‑shift position offers a structured Transition to Practice program for new graduate or experienced RNs seeking to specialize in cardiac care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate, and delegate nursing care across the lifespan of patients, families, and caregivers.
• Utilize the nursing process to promote health, prevent illness, and deliver patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to execute medical regimens and improve quality of care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or within 5 years of hire) – advanced degree preferred.
• Current Washington State RN license (or multistate endorsement).
• Commitment to the residency curriculum and clinical preceptorship.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Labor & Delivery Nursing (LNPC), Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS) – within 1 year of hire.
