Business Development & Sales Representative – Architecture & Design

About the role

Our client, a growing architecture and design firm on the U.S. East Coast, is looking for a part‑time Business Development & Sales Representative. You will generate new business, nurture leads, and close sales for residential and commercial design services, working remotely with a performance‑based commission structure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source new business opportunities through networking, outreach, referrals and prospecting.
• Build relationships with homeowners, developers, real‑estate professionals, contractors and other potential clients.
• Qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through closing.
• Conduct discovery calls and present the firm’s architecture and design services.
• Prepare proposals and coordinate with the design team as needed.
• Follow up consistently with prospects to move opportunities through the sales process.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue goals.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions and sales activities in the CRM.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales or account management.
• Background in architecture, renovations, construction or real‑estate development.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
