Board Certified Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician (Lafayette, LA)

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join its Lafayette University Hospital and Clinics. The position is 100% outpatient with optional part‑time or full‑time schedules and offers leadership opportunities over APPs in a new facility opening in 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population.
• Lead and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with an additional stipend.
• Collaborate with a large subspecialty network and utilize digital medicine tools for chronic disease management.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Willingness to work full‑time or part‑time in an outpatient setting with limited call.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR.
• Experience using digital medicine platforms for patient management.
