About the role
Ochsner Health’s Department of Cardiology is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Electrophysiologist to join a large, academic‑focused group practice in New Orleans. The position involves direct patient care, teaching responsibilities, and participation in clinical research within the John Ochsner Heart & Vascular Institute.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high‑volume adult electrophysiology program.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows across Ochsner’s medical schools.
- Engage in clinical research projects related to cardiac rhythm disorders.
Required profile
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology.
- Medical Doctor (MD) with an active Louisiana medical license.
- Willingness to work onsite at the New Orleans campus.
Required skills
- Electrophysiology procedures and interpretation.
- Cardiology clinical expertise.
