About the role
The Knights of Columbus is seeking a bilingual (French/English) Customer Service Representative to handle phone and email inquiries. You will provide detailed information on the Order's insurance, annuity, and fraternal products while maintaining a professional and courteous image.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls and emails in French and English, addressing policyholder and field‑force questions.
- Use KofC online systems to retrieve accurate product information and provide appropriate responses.
- Explain life insurance, annuity, and settlement options, including tax‑sheltered and non‑tax‑sheltered products.
- Follow procedures for releasing policyholder information and forward special requests to the correct department.
- Review and route email inquiries, acting as a liaison between the website and internal teams.
- Translate communications when needed and stay up‑to‑date with product updates and departmental communications.
Required profile
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong knowledge of insurance and annuity products or the ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to guidelines and procedures.
Required skills
- Proficiency with customer service and CRM platforms (as used by Knights of Columbus).
