About the role
Surventis is seeking an Automation Engineer to join its Greenville, Ohio site. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving control system solutions that keep the plant running safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Program control systems, including base logic, graphics, and batch sequences.
- Lead life‑cycle planning and training for site control systems.
- Collaborate with Operations to modify programs that de‑bottleneck equipment and boost performance.
- Conduct annual functional certification of automated interlocks.
- Support project engineers during commissioning of automation‑related capital projects.
- Maintain Data Historian systems and document all plant changes per PSM Management of Change.
- Provide technical support for risk assessments and ensure changes do not compromise safety.
Required profile
- Proven experience in control system programming and plant automation.
- Ability to lead projects, train personnel, and work closely with Operations.
- Strong understanding of safety instrumented systems and PSM requirements.
Required skills
