Production Operator – 2nd/3rd Shift

About the role

3M is seeking Production Operator candidates in Greenville, South Carolina for full‑time 2nd and 3rd shifts. New hires start with three weeks paid vacation and a competitive hourly rate. The position offers the chance to work alongside innovative 3M colleagues worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Observe all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Apply quality instructions and specifications to production tasks.
• Monitor production or packing operations to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Load and unload material into and from equipment.
• Collaborate with team members by sharing information, problem‑solving, and assisting others.
• Analyze and troubleshoot machine or in‑process product problems.
• Utilize basic computer and math skills for operational tasks.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED or higher, verified prior to start.
• At least one year of machine operation experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift on 8‑ or 12‑hour schedules.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• May require forklift and hoist operation experience.
• May require experience with SAP and PLC systems.
