About the role
The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Ludlam Point community. This position handles daily accounting tasks, rent collection, invoicing, and ensures accurate financial reporting using property management software.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
- Process invoices and payables, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
- Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering data accurately and maintaining system integrity through updates and backups.
- Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents on delinquencies, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
- Prepare monthly close‑out financial reports and assist with budgeting and financial analysis.
- Support eviction procedures, including notice requirements and representation in court hearings.
- Assist with resident move‑out processes, ensuring lease terms and notice requirements are met.
Required profile
- Detail‑oriented individual capable of handling multiple financial transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently while supporting the Community Manager.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property management software.
