Assistant Community Manager

About the role

This position supports the Community Manager at Wyldewood Gosling, a Greystar community located in Spring, Texas. The Assistant Community Manager assists in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community, ensuring accurate accounting, timely rent collection, and reliable reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments on a daily basis.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and perform account dispositions.
• Process invoices, manage payables, and assist with month‑end close‑out activities.
• Generate financial reports and assist in preparing monthly financial statements.
• Utilize property management software (Yardi/OneSite) to record, track, and report all financial transactions.
• Support the Community Manager with operational tasks and resident inquiries as needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the community team.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and real‑estate operations.
