About the role
Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager of the Baxter on Broadway property. This position focuses on the financial and operational aspects of a stabilized, mid‑rise community with 134 units, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day financial processes.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
- Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and complete month‑end close‑out reports.
- Process vendor invoices, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and obtain Community Manager approval.
- Operate Yardi/OneSite property management software, entering transactions accurately and maintaining system integrity.
- Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents on delinquencies, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of related experience in property management, accounting, or bookkeeping.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong time‑management skills and a professional, customer‑service oriented attitude.
- Willingness to accept feedback and maintain positive workplace relationships.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
- Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
