Account Executive – Startup Banking (San Francisco)

About the role

Rho is seeking an Account Executive to generate new business and manage relationships with mid‑market clients in the startup banking space. You will work closely with leaders across the organization to promote Rho’s technology platform to businesses with revenues of $20M+.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect middle‑market businesses, creating new sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention, upselling and cross‑selling.
• Conduct market research to inform business development strategy.
• Collaborate with Product, Client Success and Sales Development teams to align solutions with client needs.
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals and product demos.
• Participate in networking events and industry forums to expand professional networks.

Required profile

• 2+ years of full‑cycle B2B sales experience, preferably selling business banking or credit‑card products.
• Proven track record selling to SMBs/mid‑market companies (revenues $20M+).
• Strong local market network and experience with cold‑calling and hunting new business.
• Ability to navigate complex sales processes involving C‑suite stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency with Salesforce.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

What we offer

• Base salary $83,000‑$115,000 with OTE $126,000‑$220,000.
