Vibration Technician

About the role

Join a leading North American spindle rebuild specialist as a Vibration Technician. You will work alongside senior technicians to ensure spindle vibration levels meet tolerance and support on‑site customer analyses.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior vibration technician to test and analyze spindles, ensuring vibration levels are within tolerance and set up run‑off for finished product.
• Analyze vibration data to identify fault frequencies of bearing systems.
• Perform field balancing as required.
• Travel to customer sites to conduct on‑site vibration analysis when needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; electro‑mechanical associate degree or relevant experience is a plus.
• Certified in vibration analysis with two years of experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, use precision measuring devices, and understand bearing assemblies.
• Knowledge of servo spindle drives considered a plus.
• Strong mechanical understanding of industrial equipment, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work independently.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and no lifting restrictions.

Required skills

• Certification in vibration analysis.
• Proficiency with Emerson CSI 2120/2130/2140 equipment.
• Reading blueprints and using precision measurement tools.
• Knowledge of bearing assemblies and servo spindle drives.
• Field balancing techniques.
• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
