Uniformed Security Officer – Campus & Global Security

Join 3m as a Uniformed Security Officer in Maplewood, MN, supporting the safety of personnel, assets, and the company’s reputation worldwide. You will work alongside innovative 3Mers, applying security expertise to protect a global enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and interpret multiple technical tools to detect threats and risks.
• Manage incidents and emergency situations, coordinating resources and on‑scene response.
• Track global geopolitical issues that could impact business operations or security.
• Maintain and evaluate intelligence databases and open‑source intelligence sources, including social media and the dark web.
• Provide professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct regular campus and building patrols and complete clear incident reports.
• Complete basic First Aid/CPR/AED training and provide escorts for employees and visitors.
• Drive a company vehicle in compliance with corporate policies and vehicle‑history reviews.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (verified prior to start).
• Minimum two years of experience in a security‑related role in private, public, or military settings.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Additional qualifications that are advantageous: Bachelor’s degree, experience in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), advanced security certifications, bilingual abilities, strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with threat detection tools.
• Experience using intelligence databases.
• Knowledge of open‑source intelligence (OSINT) tools, including social media and dark‑web monitoring.
