Intelligence Research Specialist

About the role

The Intelligence Research Specialist supports field offices and divisions by collecting, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence that impacts national security. The role works under senior specialists and collaborates with internal and external partners to turn raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Perform operational intelligence functions to aid investigations and high‑impact initiatives.
• Assist senior specialists with liaison services, source debriefings, and exploitation of intelligence.
• Validate and cross‑check information with other intelligence organizations.
• Contribute to larger studies, statistical compilations, and intelligence publications.
• Prepare collection instructions, guides, and manuals for agency entities.
• Conduct all‑source analysis, identify trends, and produce visual and link analyses.
• Draft intelligence reports and briefing segments for agents and senior personnel.
• Support task forces and working groups with data and preliminary findings.

Required profile

• Experience in intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination.
• Ability to work under guidance on moderate‑complex cases and high‑impact projects.
• Strong collaboration skills with internal components and external partners.
• Attention to detail in reviewing data for completeness and accuracy.
