About the role
The Kansas Judicial Branch is seeking a Trial Court Clerk II for the 18th Judicial District in Wichita. This position supports court operations by handling a variety of clerical functions with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Manage specific areas of the court process and perform major clerical duties.
- Provide advice and assistance to the public and court staff as needed.
- Act as a lead worker within a unit, overseeing workflow and ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain court records, filings, and documentation in accordance with legal standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of clerical experience, or 30 semester hours of post‑secondary education as a substitute.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using personal computers and standard office software.
