Transport Coordinator – Mon-Fri 12:00pm to 8:30pm

About the role

The Direct-to-Patient Dispatcher coordinates the delivery of medical products directly to patients' homes. Working within UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics, you will ensure efficient routing, timely transportation, accurate record keeping, and clear communication among drivers, healthcare providers, and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adjust daily delivery routes using routing software and GPS systems to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
• Monitor traffic, weather, and service disruptions to proactively reroute drivers as needed.
• Coordinate transportation of medical supplies, ensuring compliance with healthcare and transportation regulations.
• Assign deliveries to drivers based on location, priority, and capacity, and track shipments in real time.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, route schedules, and delivery confirmations for compliance and reporting.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, drivers, healthcare providers, and customer service teams to schedule urgent or same‑day deliveries.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, communicating updates, delays, or changes to patients and internal teams.

• Ability to analyze route performance data and suggest improvements.
