About the role
The Texas Juvenile Crime Prevention Center seeks a Training Coordinator to design, deliver, and manage professional development programs for juvenile justice, criminal justice, social service professionals, parents, and youth. Reporting to senior staff, the coordinator will support the Center’s mission to provide high‑quality continuing education and in‑service training.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate training schedules, venues, instructors, travel, and logistics for multiple programs.
- Deliver training sessions as the lead instructor and serve as a subject‑matter specialist in assigned areas.
- Develop, update, and refine curriculum and training materials.
- Recruit and supervise adjunct instructors, monitoring performance and quality.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Collaborate with internal university divisions, host agencies, and external partners to expand training opportunities and certifications.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in coordinating or delivering training and professional development programs.
- Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision.
