Trader

About the role

The Trader works with Diversify’s Asset Management trade team to execute investment strategies and manage client portfolios. This full‑time, on‑site position is based at the company’s headquarters in South Jordan, Utah.

Key responsibilities

• Trade equities, ETFs, bonds, options and other securities, and rebalance client accounts.
• Review and validate large data sets, conduct post‑trade account reviews and trade reconciliations.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the trading database.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and optimize workflows.
• Perform various data projects to support team goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or a related field.
• Trading experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Orion’s trading platform or other custodial trading platforms strongly preferred.
• Technical aptitude for process improvement and data analytics strongly preferred.
• Self‑starter able to multitask, prioritize projects and work independently.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Strong data‑analytics capabilities.
• Experience with Orion trading platform or similar custodial platforms.
• Quantitative analysis and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented approach with ownership of work quality.
