Technical Machine Operator – 2nd Shift (Path to Technician 1)

About the role

We are looking for mechanically experienced Machine Operators who want a structured path to a Technician 1 position. The role works on modern production equipment that manufactures weatherstripping and specialty products, offering paid technical training and a clear advancement route.

Key responsibilities

• Run, adjust, and monitor production equipment during the 2nd shift (3 PM‑11 PM, Monday‑Friday).
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and process adjustments.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and process issues.
• Support technicians during repairs and technical improvements.
• Follow technical work instructions, safety, and quality standards.
• Accurately record downtime, scrap, and production data.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on machine experience.
• Experience with extrusion, plastics, or other manufacturing equipment.
• Enjoy problem‑solving and understanding how machines work.
• Desire a long‑term career path into technician or maintenance roles.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed technical procedures.
