About the role
BFS Associates is looking for a Tax Accountant to join its growing, collaborative team in the Newton area. This full‑time hybrid position offers excellent benefits, including 100% employer‑paid health insurance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare small business partnership, corporate trust and individual tax returns.
- Handle attestation engagements.
- Assist with financial reporting.
- Provide bookkeeping services to businesses.
Required profile
- 5+ years of tax preparation experience in a small or medium sized public accounting firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage deadlines across multiple industries.
Required skills
- Proficiency with tax application software.
- QuickBooks.
- Microsoft Office.
