About the role
This position is based in Detroit and operates on a hybrid schedule, combining remote work with days in the LinkedIn office. As the Manager of the Talent Account Director team, you will lead a group of Account Directors who partner with existing corporate customers to drive success with LinkedIn’s Talent and Learning solutions. You will also shape and execute the sales strategy for the market, focusing on retaining and expanding valuable corporate relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, coaching sessions, and manager updates to ensure effective communication.
- Set clear goals, prioritize critical activities, and inspire the team to close deals.
- Manage headcount, forecasting, meeting leadership, and alignment with organizational vision and values.
- Foster a positive, values‑driven culture that motivates team members.
- Create and communicate a shared vision for the function.
- Identify challenges, lead training, and improve representative effectiveness.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing competitive and industry intelligence.
- Coach team members to enhance performance.
Required profile
- 7+ years of sales experience.
- 5+ years of people‑leadership experience.
- Proven sales and sales‑management experience, preferably in technology, human capital, or consulting.
- Track record of leading high‑performing sales teams.
- Ability to influence decision‑makers at all levels.
- Strong leadership, self‑starter attitude, and hands‑on approach.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills across organizations and geographies.
- Integrity‑driven, collaborative, results‑oriented with a growth mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
