Supply Planning Manager

About the role

The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of goods across the supply chain. You will develop and execute supply plans that meet customer demand while optimizing inventory and minimizing costs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Demand Planning and Sales to translate forecasts into supply requirements and flag inventory risks.
• Set inventory targets, manage stock levels, and implement replenishment strategies to balance availability and excess.
• Coordinate with Sourcing & Procurement to align product launches with inventory arrival.
• Work with production teams to align manufacturing schedules with demand and adjust for capacity changes.
• Partner with logistics to ensure timely departure and delivery of finished goods.
• Monitor purchase orders, track ETA, and communicate delays and root‑causes across functions.
• Track and report supply‑chain performance metrics and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Leverage supply‑chain software and maintain large backend databases supporting inventory management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or certifications) in business, supply chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply planning, forecasting, or a similar role.
• Proven ability to identify forecast bias and manage inventory volatility.
