Assistant Manager, Operations

About the role

CHANEL is seeking an Assistant Manager, Operations to support the boutique’s daily operational excellence. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and boutique leaders to ensure seamless execution of inventory, shipping, receiving, and compliance processes, contributing to an outstanding client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory control, cycle counts, and product movement within the boutique.
• Oversee shipping and receiving activities to support sales and client service.
• Support facilities management, security, and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Home Office Retail Operations team on strategic efficiency projects.
• Coach and inspire boutique staff to uphold operational standards and SOPs.
• Act as the primary resource for SOPs, systems, and tools across the team.
• Assist with various projects, initiatives, and customer service tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of related operational experience in a retail or boutique environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.
• Passion for CHANEL’s heritage, products, and commitment to inclusive culture.
• Flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and holidays with the ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
