Supply Chain Manager – SAP IBP & Planning Systems

About the role

Join BASF’s Agricultural Solutions team in Research Triangle Park, NC as a Supply Chain Manager. You will design, set‑up, and maintain global planning systems, coach users, support new system roll‑outs, and provide ongoing solutions. The role includes up to 10% domestic travel and a hybrid work model with two remote days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and adoption of SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
• Guide Supply Chain Managers, site Finite Planners, Global Sourcing, and Foreign Trade teams in active ingredient supply planning.
• Ensure accurate master data in SAP modules (R/3, DP, SNP, PP/DS) for efficient planning.
• Drive continuous improvement of supply chain planning and execution processes.
• Design and implement the future SAP IBP landscape in collaboration with the Global Supply Chain Excellence Team in Germany.
• Facilitate transition from APO SNP to SAP IBP across global herbicide supply chains.
• Execute North American site implementations of Detailed Planning and Scheduling (DPnS) using SAP APO PP/DS.
• Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing planning performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with SAP ECC, SAP APO (SNP, DP, PP/DS), and inventory planning.
• Proven ability to perform gap analysis, master‑data review, and system troubleshooting.
