Supply Chain Financial Analyst

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Supply Chain Financial Analyst to support its finance function with detailed analysis, reporting, and strategic insight. Working under moderate supervision, you will help ensure operational profitability and contribute to budget and revenue initiatives within the healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain financial information and databases.
• Provide regular reporting and analytics to support operational profitability.
• Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost optimization.
• Participate in the budget formation process.
• Support quality‑assurance activities and professional‑development initiatives.
• Contribute to special projects that require financial analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Math, Computer Science or related field, or 10 years relevant experience.
• Preferred MBA or advanced degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• CPA certification preferred or actively pursuing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational and judgment skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and Microsoft Office suite.
• Data entry and information retrieval capabilities.
