Supply Chain Coordinator – 2nd Shift (Evenings) – Full Time

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator supports Ochsner Health's materials management team by providing customer service, issue resolution, and efficient handling of supplies. Working the 2nd (evening) shift, you will ensure that supplies are received, inventoried, and delivered accurately to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer service email account and phone line to maintain service levels.
• Generate and analyze monthly productivity and supply chain reports.
• Accurately receive, issue, and return inventory and purchase orders.
• Train new employees on receiving and central supply duties.
• Resolve errors related to receipts, customer orders, and par levels.
• Identify and address internal and external customer needs to improve satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience in inventory management or distribution; healthcare supply chain experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required within 30 days of hire for Warehouse District Row location.
• Ability to travel between facilities and work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call availability.
