About the role

The Sophomore Career Exploration Internship offers undergraduate sophomores a ten‑week, full‑time, on‑site experience within the Corporate Group of the New York Fed. Interns join a cohort, receive mentorship, and work on real projects that support the Bank’s mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist a specific Business Area within the Corporate Group for ten weeks.
  • Contribute to project‑based assignments that impact the Bank’s operations.
  • Collaborate with peers and employees across the Bank on cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development events and learning sessions with senior leaders.

Required profile

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate sophomore.
  • Strong interest in finance, public service, or business operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
