Strategic Sourcing Manager

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead procurement initiatives for key marketing categories. Based in Fort Worth, TX, you will partner with Marketing and Sales leaders to develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, mitigate risk, and enhance performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to Marketing and Sales leadership, aligning category strategies with business priorities.
• Develop and implement category strategies for sub‑categories such as Data Insights, Promotional Items, Print, Media, Creative Agencies, and Meetings & Events.
• Build total cost of ownership models, conduct should‑cost analyses, and translate insights into measurable targets.
• Lead financial discussions, budgeting, and spend analysis to ensure procurement decisions reflect cost and value implications.
• Monitor compliance, manage contracts, and support risk assessments across regional and global scopes.
• Plan and execute projects with clear scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably within marketing or related categories.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills across global and regional environments.
• Ability to analyze market dynamics, develop TCO models, and drive data‑based decision making.
• Experience managing contracts, supplier relationships, and compliance processes.
