About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Market Research & Insights function for the Surgical franchise. The role combines strategic planning, advanced analytics, and financial evaluation to shape business direction and support executive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual Strategic Plan forecast, consolidating market data, assumptions, and executive‑level presentations.
• Build and maintain a multi‑year Excel forecasting model with dynamic inputs and historical actuals.
• Conduct weekly cross‑regional forecast reviews, validate assumptions, and incorporate updates.
• Create and update Tableau dashboards for market insights, performance tracking, and revenue forecasts.
• Produce quarterly fact books on market size and Alcon’s share using syndicated data.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial and market analyses, including sensitivity modeling and support for M&A, R&D, and strategic business cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school + 15 years, Associate + 11 years, M.S. + 4 years, PhD + 3 years).
• Proven senior‑level leadership and project‑management experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Experience guiding teams, talent development, and employee engagement.
