Staff Commercial Product Manager, Trucking

About the role

Waabi’s Commercial Product team builds the end‑to‑end commercial offering that makes autonomous trucking deployable, scalable and valuable to customers. As a Staff Commercial Product Manager you will own critical workstreams that bring the Waabi Driver to market and scale it from pilots to a broader network.

Key responsibilities

• Define operating models, service capabilities and partner workflows through process mapping, requirements definition and cross‑functional alignment.
• Translate customer, operations, autonomy and business needs into clear product requirements and deployment plans.
• Build structured frameworks for site readiness, service design, partner integration, customer onboarding and operational scalability.
• Develop repeatable pilot‑to‑scale playbooks that move customers, lanes and sites from pilot to qualified, driverless‑ready deployments.
• Lead cross‑functional workstreams with autonomy, operations, engineering, business development, safety, legal and external partners.
• Facilitate workshops, design agendas, frame decisions, track progress and ensure follow‑through.
• Identify trade‑offs across customer value, autonomy readiness, operational complexity, cost, speed and long‑term scalability.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product management, operations, strategy or program leadership in a complex technical environment such as autonomous vehicles, trucking, logistics or robotics.
• Proven experience standing up operating models from scratch, including services, workflows and tools.
• Track record of designing, launching or scaling complex B2B products or services.
• Strong systems‑thinking and first‑principles judgment to turn ambiguous problems into clear frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives without formal authority.
• Executive‑grade written and verbal communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence, low ego and a bias toward ownership and action.
