Sonic Driller – Full‑Time Field Position

About the role

Conetec is seeking an experienced Sonic Driller to join its Salt Lake City team. You will work on geotechnical site‑investigation projects across the United States, operating sophisticated drilling and testing equipment while ensuring safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Operate sonic drilling and testing equipment on field sites.
• Assist field engineers and operators during drilling operations.
• Perform basic mechanical, electrical and hydraulic maintenance on rigs.
• Maintain high‑quality upkeep of equipment and work areas, following all safety regulations.
• Travel to various locations and work extended 14‑24‑day shifts.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on sonic drilling experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and for long hours.
• Ability to pass drug, alcohol and criminal background checks.
• Valid driver’s abstract and a positive, professional attitude.
• Strong work ethic, able to work independently or within a team.
