Software Engineer – Full‑Stack .NET Role for State Digital Services

About the role

Tyler Technologies is seeking a collaborative Software Engineer to join its Louisiana State Enterprise team. In this hands‑on, full‑stack position you will help build and modernize digital solutions that make state government services more accessible, efficient, and user‑friendly for Louisiana citizens.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern front‑end tools.
• Work across the full application stack, focusing on polished front‑end experiences and reliable .NET back‑end integration.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality digital government solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Assist with database development, including SQL queries, stored procedures, and schema updates.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Stay current with relevant technologies and identify opportunities to use AI and emerging tools.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency with .NET/C# and object‑oriented programming.
• Solid front‑end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with front‑end libraries or frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular, or React.
• Comfortable working with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience using version control and working in Agile environments.
• Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex, Amazon Bedrock).
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
